Martin Luther King, Jr. at Morehouse College, Bond was a leader in the 1960s civil rights movement. </span> <span data-start-time='23750' data-end-time='30917'>He was among the activists who demanded equal rights for African-Americans.</span> <span data-start-time='30917' data-end-time='40292'>Bond’s advocacy for equal rights also went beyond race issues and beyond the United States. </span> <span data-start-time='40292' data-end-time='61521'>He opposed the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War;
